I found book in an old library
It’s been forever now
My name engraved on the cover
This book was all my destiny

I was curious, and started to read
All my life was, to me, revealed
And on the last of all pages, I read my death
One night a car would end my life.


I saw my death in all the lines
All was written, there were no lies
One day, a light with dreadful shine
Will write «end» on my storyline


After reading I tried real hard
All these years to change my future
With no success, I soon realized
That everything was to occur

Whatever way I chose, Whatever thing I tried
I couldn’t change my destiny


On that sad day, I saw the light
I was prepared, that was my fate,
You then appeared, and pushed me right
You saved my life, and disappeared

I had to die, that was my fate
You saved my life, and now I’m free
You cut my string of destiny
I’m now writing my own story
